Corporate Training FAQ

Practical answers to the questions we hear most from HR managers, L&D leads, and business owners considering training for their teams.

Common questions

Pricing depends on the programme length, group size, and whether it is on-site or remote. A typical one-day on-site session for up to 12 participants starts at £2,400 plus VAT. Half-day remote workshops begin at £1,200 plus VAT. We provide a detailed, line-item quote after an initial scoping call so there are no surprises.

Travel expenses within Northern Ireland are included. For sessions elsewhere in the UK, we add actual travel and accommodation costs at the rates agreed in advance.

Yes. We run live remote sessions over Microsoft Teams or Zoom, typically in 90-minute or half-day blocks. Remote sessions include the same interactive exercises, breakout activities, and post-session materials as our on-site programmes.

For teams spread across multiple time zones, we can split a programme into shorter modules scheduled at different times. We have delivered remote training to teams in the UK, Ireland, Germany, and the UAE.

We recommend between 6 and 15 participants. Smaller groups allow more individual coaching time, more realistic role-play exercises, and better discussion. For larger teams, we split into parallel groups and run sessions on consecutive days so everyone gets the same quality of experience.

Three to four weeks is comfortable. That gives us time to interview a few of your team members, review any internal materials you share, and build exercises around your real workflows. We have turned around bookings in ten days when needed, but the customisation is more limited at short notice.

Always. Before every programme, we hold a 30-minute discovery call with the person commissioning the training and, ideally, one or two participants. We ask about the specific challenges the team faces, the tools they use, and any recent changes in the business. Case studies, role-play scenarios, and assessment questions are then written around your context.

A logistics company gets examples about supply-chain disruptions, not marketing campaign metrics. A financial services firm practises compliance scenarios drawn from FCA guidance, not generic rules.

Every booking includes a follow-up call at the four-week mark. During that call, the trainer reviews how participants have applied what they learned and answers new questions that have come up. We also send a short digital workbook within 48 hours of the session so participants have a reference to return to.

If you want ongoing support, we offer quarterly refresher workshops and a coaching retainer where your managers can book one-to-one sessions with our trainers. Those are priced separately.

Our trainers are practitioners, not career academics. Diane Keogh spent 14 years in operations management at a Belfast-based food distributor before joining us. Marcus Obi ran compliance programmes at two London banks. Sarah Llewellyn built her career in NHS workforce development.

Each trainer holds at least one recognised qualification: CIPD, CMI, or ILM level 5 or above. We match the trainer to your sector and topic so the person in front of your team speaks from direct experience.

Yes. Every participant who completes a programme receives a branded certificate listing the topics covered and the number of CPD hours. For regulated industries where CPD logging matters, we provide a detailed breakdown that your staff can upload to their professional body portal.

Cancellations made 14 or more calendar days before the session date are free of charge. Between 5 and 13 days, we charge 50 % of the agreed fee. Fewer than 5 days, the full fee applies. You can reschedule once without penalty if you give us at least 7 days' notice.

We have delivered on-site programmes in Dublin, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt. For locations outside the UK and Ireland, we ask for at least six weeks' lead time and add travel costs to the quote. Remote delivery is available for any time zone.

How a typical engagement works

From first enquiry to follow-up, here is what to expect when you book a corporate training programme with us.

1. Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation where we learn about your team, your goals, and any constraints (budget, dates, location). We usually schedule this within two working days of your enquiry.

2. Proposal and quote

Within five working days of the discovery call, you receive a written proposal with the programme outline, trainer bio, logistics, and a fixed-price quote. No hidden fees.

3. Content customisation

We interview one or two participants, review any documents you share (org charts, process maps, recent audit findings), and write exercises and case studies that mirror your real work.

4. Delivery day

The trainer arrives 45 minutes early to set up. Sessions mix short presentations with group exercises, individual tasks, and facilitated discussion. Lunch and breaks are built into the schedule.

5. Materials and report

Within 48 hours, participants receive a digital workbook and the commissioning manager gets a summary report: what went well, where the group struggled, and what to reinforce over the coming weeks.

6. Four-week follow-up

A 30-minute call with the trainer to review progress, troubleshoot any sticking points, and discuss whether a follow-on session would be useful. This is included in the original fee.
